Reading Logs
I am requiring that children read four nights per week. This reading can be from books, magazines, text books and others.
Every Friday I will be collecting yhe reading logs and if your child has completed their reading they will be able to select a prize from the prize box. They will then place a sticker on a chart in the classroom to keep track of their progress. At the end of the year, the students that have read the most will recieve rewards for their efforts.
2nd Graders
• Your child must read for 15 minutes per night to receive credit.
Kindergardeners
• Your child must read or be read to for 10 minutes per night to receive credit.
This will make the process equal for every child.
